Create a serene and beautiful invitation to quiet rest all filmed all over the world: from Japan to Hawaii to Italy and more - but do it all from a concrete warehouse in LA. “Ok”, we said.
Volume Studios are fun
We were delighted to work with a small volume in Burbank for a few days in the midst of a pandemic, creatively finding ways to transport the viewer all over the world through LED technology, virtual environments created in Unreal Engine and filming the backs of heads of 5 actors staring out over an idyllic (digitally created) natural vista / garden / ocean.
Bringing environments to life
The integration of additional lighting, props and set pieces into each shot was a key component in bringing each scene fully to life. A beautiful marriage of emerging technology being married to the (meat and potatoes) technology of a few plants and lights. All to draw the viewer into a believable scene that makes them stop, slow down, take a breath and reflect.
