Bethel Heaven Come

Looking upward

We were privileged to partner with award winning artist, Bethel Music on their flagship conference, “Heaven Come”. Hosted at the Peacock Theater @ LA Live, it was a room that has seen many American Idols crowned along with countless award shows and hosting many icons through the years. The aim of this event was to simply turn people’s eyes up in wonder and awe of something much bigger than them. We were privileged to create all of the custom screen content that mapped across a cascading stage that aimed to draw your eyes and your heart upward.

Analogue experiments for digital screens

We jumped into analogue play: with fish tanks, large black rubber tubs, inks, water and anything else we could dream up. Bringing this type of curiosity to this medium had it’s moments of failure and risk - but ultimately was able to deliver results that came through sprung to life over 100s of feet of LED.

Look good, but not TOO good

While beauty, excellence at the forefront of everything we do, this visuals had to deliver on both. But at the same time, given the environment of a worship experience, we had to learn to walk a fine line of bringing texture to the room, but not to distract - only serve and support the wider aim - connecting people to the divine.

The Colours + Shapes team approaches everything with intentionality. Each project is created with the audience in mind, that they would experience something they have not yet seen. When you create with C+S you are always aware of the innovation and the endless opportunities of your canvas.
