Wagner Hills Campaign

The next 40 years.

Wagner Hills carries a 40 year legacy of healing, hope and transformation for thousands of folks in addiction recovery. As they have grown over the decades, so has their need for improved facilities and a broader capacity to serve those in need at their men’s campus. “The next 40 years” campaign represents the most ambitious in their history = to raise 14 million to build “Oak House” - a beautiful new men’s residence for 50 men. Our job was to partner with the leadership of Wagner Hills to launch a 14 million dollar fundraising campaign that could equip them to succeed.

In service to a story that writes itself

Our job was to sit, listen, learn about the history and story of Wagner Hills and to take all that we learned to make a beautiful, compelling story clear, sticky and memorable. On one hand, the story writes itself - so many lives transformed through healing and transformation. The question became, what is the best way to weave all of the stories of the work of last 40 years into the next 40?

A book, some films and an invitation

We were excited to build a campaign that was centered around a physical coffee table book that can live with people long after this project is completed. In addition, we were able to capture the stories of a few key individuals whose lives have been changed from their time on the farm at Wagner Hills. To learn more, click here.

Partnering with Colours + Shapes allowed us to take the bold, ambitious swing of trying to raise $14 million to build Oak House. Their ability to take our 40 year history, weave it into this campaign and invite folks into the next 40 was clear, creative and it worked.
